Summer

The third official day of summer and at last the weather has broken. It was a bit wet out on trail today, so here's one from a few days ago. This track runs from Wheathill Lane to Crow Lane, pretty much following the the ridge to the east of Tapton golf course.

 The last few days has been a bit hectic, but here we are back in Havelock North and back to my usual exercise regime of cycle 3.4 kilometres from home to the car park, then walk various trails. here looking out towards Mount Erin with Mount Kahuranaki just visible over the ridge to the left.
