Tinker Sick

The fish pond at Tapton Grove on the unfortunately named Tinker Sick, a former tributary of the River Rother, which for about the last 250 years has flowed instead into the Chesterfeild Canal.

 The last few days has been a bit hectic, but here we are back in Havelock North and back to my usual exercise regime of cycle 3.4 kilometres from home to the car park, then walk various trails. here looking out towards Mount Erin with Mount Kahuranaki just visible over the ridge to the left.
