Arkwright


I carried on walking along a track I've walked and cycled many times, continued under the main road and found myself in this area just outside Arkwright Town. I guess this is former coal board land, possibly still is, with thousands of new trees and this small lake.

 The last few days has been a bit hectic, but here we are back in Havelock North and back to my usual exercise regime of cycle 3.4 kilometres from home to the car park, then walk various trails. here looking out towards Mount Erin with Mount Kahuranaki just visible over the ridge to the left.
