The seventeenth century Bolsover Castle can be seen for miles around. I was not about to cycle up that hill, but had just come down the slightly smaller one opposite, and had to return.

 The last few days has been a bit hectic, but here we are back in Havelock North and back to my usual exercise regime of cycle 3.4 kilometres from home to the car park, then walk various trails. here looking out towards Mount Erin with Mount Kahuranaki just visible over the ridge to the left.
