Blue skies maybe, but the horses still have their winter coats on, and spring has not yet sprung much life from this exposed hawthorn hedge near Brimington.

 The last few days has been a bit hectic, but here we are back in Havelock North and back to my usual exercise regime of cycle 3.4 kilometres from home to the car park, then walk various trails. here looking out towards Mount Erin with Mount Kahuranaki just visible over the ridge to the left.
