That lovely warm local stone again bathed in the late afternoon su. I'm out of the woods which are showing some green shoots. I seem to have heard those expressions somewhere else recently.

Grassmoor Country Park

Site of the former Grassmoor Colliery and start of the Five Pits Trail.

The last few days has been a bit hectic, but here we are back in Havelock North and back to my usual exercise regime of cycle 3.4 kilometres from home to the car park, then walk various trails. here looking out towards Mount Erin with Mount Kahuranaki just visible over the ridge to the left.
